Summer HD Festival

The Met’s popular free Summer HD Festival returns to Lincoln Center for it’s 14^th year. Ten thrilling performances from the company’s Live in HD series of cinema transmissions will be enjoyed—plus a special screening of the fan favorite Moonstruck, co-presented with Film at Lincoln Center. The showings run for 11-days, from August 25 to September 4, with more than 2,500 seats set up in front of the opera house each night, as well as additional standing room in designated areas around Lincoln Center Plaza. Seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance tickets or reservations are required.

The Met’s HD Festival presentations will include full open captions.

To accommodate entry protocols and security measures for the Met Opera’s 2023 Summer HD Festival, be advised that Josie Robertson Plaza will be cleared and secured approximately 2-hours prior to each scheduled Summer MetHD screening. All guests are welcomed back at designated access points 1-hour prior to the start of the scheduled presentation.
