Five tips to achieve your New Year's resolutions

1. Set attainable goals: Instead of setting wildly ambitious goals that may be hard to keep, set smaller, achievable ones, you can realistically accomplish. Make your goal specific, such as "I want to lose 10 lbs in 3 months" rather than "I want to lose weight."

2. Make a plan: Once you’ve set your goals, create an action plan with steps to help you reach them. Break down each goal into smaller, more manageable tasks, and give yourself milestones to acknowledge along the way.

3. Track your progress: Create a tracking system that works for you, such as a spreadsheet or calendar, to track your progress and motivate yourself. You can also log progress into a journal or make notes in a phone app to help you track behaviors that can reinforce your journey toward your goal.

4. Ask for help: Be bold and ask for help when needed. Whether it's a friend, family member, or mentor, having someone to support and encourage you can make a massive difference in helping you achieve your goals. We all need help at some point or other, particularly when we’re tackling something difficult.

5. Enjoy your success: Reward yourself for accomplishments and successes along the way, and when you reach your goal Celebrating your progress can keep you motivated and focused on achieving your goals. Have a night out with your partner or friends, and enjoy the satisfying achievement you've created for yourself! Amazing work! Well done!
