Mind Body Soul Yoga in Hudson Heights

February 19,2016 | By Adrivel Ruiz |
One of hottest spots in Hudson Heights is the Mind Body Soul Yoga studio. Although the studio has been around for six years, they moved one year ago to their new location at 350 Fort Washington Avenue, just across from the J. Hood Wright Park.
Their motto "Yoga Is for Everyone" invites locals to explore the discipline, no matter what your age or body type. If the motto does not convince you, I believe their one-month unlimited classes deal for $48 will do the trick (please note the offer is only for new students).

The studio is a place not only for those who are interested in yoga as exercise, but for those who look for a place to connect with spirituality. The studio offers a diverse wellness program in addition to acupuncture, Reiki healing, and massages.

I had the opportunity to meet the studio's manager, Monique Logan. We talked about their services and other aspects of the studio. She also wanted to add there are some bilingual classes (Spanish) and that some teachers are pre-natal certified.
They offer private lessons as well as group classes to meet the needs of beginners as well as more advanced students. If you have children, you'll want to look into the New Mom classes and also the special programs just for kids.
Monique told me about the different workshops they offer on an ongoing basis each month. Topics include Vinyasa, Ayurveda, and Acupuncture.
It's definitely a place to stop by and check out all the services and training they offer. Be sure to explore their mini-store area where visitors can shop for products from yoga mats to incense and candles.

Hope to see you around!
