Beer, sausage, and schnitzel, oh my! Germany in Harlem? That’s right! Right at the start of Harlem, on 113th and Frederick Douglass, we are gifted with our very own international bier garden, Bier International. With nearly 50 different options of beer from around the world, it’s hard to believe that you won’t find one to enjoy. The outdoor seating provides a great place to sit and catch up with a friend, celebrate a birthday, or have a casual date night with your significant other.
Along with some good beer and a great atmosphere, why don’t you add to it by ordering a Bavarian pretzel or a Vienna-style schnitzel. All the food is on the menu with a beer pairing suggestion. This way, you automatically know what will be the best flavor explosion. Bier International also offers a great brunch offer. $13 for a brunch entrée, a drink, and a salad. Hard to find a better deal than this. Some places will charge you $13 just for a drink! You can also get a beer sampling for $15 which gives you 5 different 5oz beers. Another awesome deal by Bier International!
Now, this next thing that is awesome about Bier is my favorite. Soccer! They love soccer! And they always have soccer on! Well, sometimes it’s rugby, but usually it’s soccer!! I may be a little biased…But, it is rare to find a bar in America that’s primary focus is soccer. It is usually American football, baseball, basketball, or hockey. So, I appreciate it when a restaurant focuses on my (and most of the world’s) favorite sport. Overall, Bier International has a great vibe and is a great place to relax and have a simple, causal night.
